We loved the idea (I was inspired by Earth Chick) of celebrating each day with a fun activity rather than a candy or toy. Things were rocking busy for us until halfway through the advent, though, so we started a little late this year. Luckily, the Little One is none the wiser!
I still plan to stamp and stitch a number tag inside each mitten, but I get a feeling that'll be next year. We're easing into this, apparently.

What a beautiful collection of tiny mittens! I love the idea of celebrating with an activity. The thrill of a toy is short, and candy even shorter.

Oh, they are just lovely. Seeing these advent mittens pop up on the blogs is making me reallllly antsy to start on some! And an activity instead of candy/toy is a brilliant idea.
